Athletic Training

Coastal Orthopedics and Sports Medicine provide Athletic Training services to the Mid-Coast Area. We provide on the field coverage for Freeport High School and Wiscasset High School.

Our Athletic Trainers specialize in injury prevention, pre-season conditioning, in-season management/rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions, return to play progressions and post season recovery. They also play an important role in concussion protocol.

When our Athletic Trainers are not on the field they are in our Orthopedic and Physical Therapy office assisting clinicians and other clinical staff.
