Pippy McGuire MPT obtained her Master of Physical Therapy degree with honors from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut in 2001. Her area of research at the University was patellofemoral pain syndrome. She has attended post graduate specialized education on and traumatic injury management and Mulligan mobilization with movement techniques. In 2003 Pippy assisted in presenting research on shoulder rehab at the American Physical Therapy Association conference in Washington D.C.
Pippy's areas of special interest include patellofemoral pain syndrome and the use of McKenzie & Mulligan techniques to reduce acute pain and post operative rehabilitation. She joined the Coastal Orthopedics team co-founding the Coastal Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Physical Therapy Department out of the Brunswick office.
