
Dr. James Glazer M.D.
James Glazer practices non-operative orthopedics and sports medicine. He is a graduate of the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency where he was Chief Resident. He completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky and went on to serve as Associate Director of Sports Medicine at Maine Medical Center.
Dr. Glazer has been appointed as a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. He has published numerous research articles, has lectured nationally and internationally, and has contributed to publications such as Bicycling magazine, Runner's World and USA Today. In addition, he is currently a physician for the US Ski team and is the Director of Concussion Management for the Portland Pirates.
Dr Glazer is available for consultation to treat all kinds of orthopedic and sports medicine issues. He has a particular expertise in treating concussions, arthritis, and in helping to keep aging athletes and non-athletes active and pain free.
